Triple sharing Hotel Accommodation will be provided

Lodging fee for rated     : Rs. 300 for entire tournament

Lodging fee for Unrated : Rs. 400 for entire tournament

Special Free Trip : - Special Free Trip to Vaishno Devi Temple (Tranportation only ) for all players on 30.10.2006 at 8 P.M. ( it will take around 20 hours from Jammu & Back )

Total Cash Prize Fund: Rs.1,20,000/-.

System of Play : The  tournament will be played under the laws of chess and FIDE and Swiss system. Totally Ten  rounds shall be played unless otherwise decided by the Tournament Committee before the commencement of the championship. 

Session : The rate of play shall be 2 hours each sudden finish . Changes in these timings or the number of rounds shall be announced by the Chief Arbiter at the start of the first round.

Chess Sets and Clock : All Players are requested to bring your Chess sets and chess clock if any

Protest : Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs. 500/- within one hour of the occurrence of the incident. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.

Disqualifacation : No participant will leave the venue before the Prize Distribution function without the permission of the Chief Arbiter. The participants disregarding this rule will be suspended for one year.

Interpretation : For interpretation of the rule(s) and deciding any point not covered by the above rules of the tournament, the decision of the Tournament Committee shall be final and binding on all. The Tournament Committee has every right to make any addition or amendment to these rules, without notice. Such changes will, however, be displayed in the tournament hall.

Registration of Players : AlCF Registration is compulsory for all players.  The fee is Rs.250/-
