Mr.D.V.Sundar, Hon.Secretary, All India Chess Federation and Mr.K.Rajasekhar, Hon.Secretary Karnataka Chess Association jointly addressed the members of the press at Bangalore on
21st March 2005. The press was informed of the two major events to be held at Bangalore by the Karnataka Chess Association.
1. National Women " A" Chess Championship from 23rd April to 09th May 2005
2. Asian Individual Chess Championship from 4th July to 14th July 2005.
