The division bench of the Madras High Court on Aug 23 upheld the Single Judge Order of August 9 in the case filed by the three state chess associations of Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu to remove P.T.Ummer Koya from the post of Secretary of AICF and Soumen Majumdar from the post of Treasurer of AICF for their various acts of misfeasance and malfeasance.
