National Cities - The Asian Chess Federation has announced the conduct of Asian Cities Chess Championship at Beirut, Lebanon from 14th to 23rd April, 2009. In view of this we need to organise the National Cities Chess Championship. We are likely to organise the same in the second week of March, 2009. All State Associations are hereby informed to get your teams ready. The venue / dates will be finalised shortly.20 Feb, 09

The organizers of the various tournaments approved by the AICF / State Associations, District Associations are requested to furnish the following for the purpose of coverage in the AICF Chronicle.

1.   The Tournament Report, A descriptive report by the organizer / Chief Arbiter detailing the conduct of the tournament including the names of the Chief Guests  at the  Inauguration and Prize Distribution functions

2.   The final standings and special prizes, if any

3.   Games in the PGN format

4.   Photos ( atleast five ) of the tournament with captions detailing the persons in the photograph from left to right. 10 May, 08
