The Central council of the All India Chess Federation has
decided that henceforth only the Arbiters recommended by the
respective State Associations and registered with the All India
Chess Federation will be permitted to officiate as Arbiters in
all FIDE rated tournaments and All India open tournaments apart
from all the National Championships and International Events
conducted in India. It is mandatory for such arbiters to
register with AICF by paying the registration fee of Rs.1,000/-
per year and has to be renewed annually. The period of
registration will be from 1st April to 31st March.
All Such names will be displayed on the AICF website
www.indianchessfed.org
Therefore, all those who wish to serve as Arbiters in FIDE rated
tournaments, the National Championships or International
tournaments are requested to comply with the above immediately.
To register, please remit Rs. 1,000/- by Demand Draft favouring
All India Chess Federation payable at Chennai on or before 10th
December, 2011. The Demand draft should be accompanied by the
Arbiters’ Registration Form duly recommended by the State

May 06 2010 - Please be informed that the FIDE has announced that, here after
all the rating tournaments should be registered 30 days in
advance. We therefore request all the organizers / State chess
associations to send their Bidform along with prescribed fee to
organize any FIDE rating events, 45 days in advance to All India
Chess Federation for onward submission to FIDE and enable us to
