Organises a Clinic for Arbiters to update their Knowledge
Arbiters have to update their
knowledge periodically with the latest developments in chess
with respect to laws of chess, pairing, title, rating, and
tournament regulations. It is a good chance for the arbiters all
over India to congregate and discuss.
The Arbiters Clinic, organised by All India Chess Federation and
sponsored by Sivakasi Chess Club & Renganyagi Varatharaj College
of Engineering, Salvarpatti, Sivakasi to Sattur Road, Tamil Nadu
will be held at the college campus on 11th and 12th February
2012.
Free boarding and dormitory lodging will be provided to all the
participants. Prof.R. Anantharam IA, Member, SPP Commission,
FIDE and Chairman of Arbiters Council, All India Chess
Federation and Mr. R. Srivatsan IA will be the resource persons.
A nominal fee of Rs.100 (one hundred only) will be collected
towards registration charges. Register your name with a DD in
favour of Sivakasi Chess Club, payable at Sivakasi. Registration
can also be done through e-mail to

Sattur is 70 KMs from the temple city Madurai, on the way to
Kanyakumari and connected to all the metro cities in India by
train.
