My heartiest
congratulations to the Indian Chess Team for winning Bronze
Medal in World Team Championship. They have proved that given
the opportunity, we can do miracles with strong determination
and good team work. Congratulations to Ganguly as well for
winning Gold Medal on the third board.
A special note of thanks to AICF for taking the initiative to
send the team at the last moment and also for the wise decision
of appointing the renowned coach Psakhis to assist the team. My
best wishes for the future tournaments.

May 06 2010 - Please be informed that the FIDE has announced that, here after
all the rating tournaments should be registered 30 days in
advance. We therefore request all the organizers / State chess
associations to send their Bidform along with prescribed fee to
organize any FIDE rating events, 45 days in advance to All India
Chess Federation for onward submission to FIDE and enable us to
allot the FIDE / AICF event code for the event. Download the Bidform
