second place with five others. The World Junior is on until
August 16. Dmitry Andreikin (Elo 2650) of Russia is leading the
table with 6.5/8. Five rounds remain to be played.
After a defeat and a draw, Padmini Rout of Orissa slid from
joint lead to joint fourth place in the World Junior Girls Chess
Championship which is taking place at Poland.
Top seed Anna Muzychuk of Slovenia leads with 7/8. Meanwhile,
Bhakti Kulkarni of Goa recorded two wins to join Padmini Rout
and others in the joint fourth place on six points.
Bodda Pratyusha is on 3.5 points after a defeat and a draw.
