Psakhis,
Romanishin to Train Indian Teams
The All
India Chess Federation in its Annual General Body
Meeting at Chennai today named Grandmaster Lev Psakhis
of Isreal and Grandmaster Oleg Romanishin of Ukraine as
coaches for the Indian Men and Women teams respectively
for the Chess Olympiad in Russia and the Asian Games in
China. The Venue for Training will be a Hill Station
like Ooty.
The members
commended the Success of Viswanathan Anand for retaining
the World title at Sofia.
AICF
accepted the name change to Goa Chess Association from
the earlier name.
The All
India Chess Federation decided to lift the suspension of
Mr.R.S.Tiwari, International Arbiter of Delhi after
receiving an apology.
It was
resolved that the names of FIDE rated players who have
become member of the Chess Association of India, and
participate in unauthorized tournaments, will be removed
from the rating list. |
