5th CHESS OSCAR TO VISWANATHAN ANAND

Doordarshan is to telecast a documentary on world
champion Viswanathan Anand on October 5 from 2230
to 2300 hours in the National channel.
This will feature the highlights of the 5th Chess Oscar
Anand received at Baku in Azerbaijan earlier this year.
The documentary will also contain highlights on the
three world titles Anand won at Tehran 2000 and at
Mexico City and also at Bonn last year.

May 06 2010 - Please be informed that the FIDE has announced that, here after
all the rating tournaments should be registered 30 days in
advance. We therefore request all the organizers / State chess
associations to send their Bidform along with prescribed fee to
organize any FIDE rating events, 45 days in advance to All India
Chess Federation for onward submission to FIDE and enable us to
