All India Technical Conference & Senior Arbiter
Examination 29, 30 & 31 December, 2009 at Bhubaneswar,
Orissa
The All
India Technical Conference in Chess and the examination
for the title of Senior Arbiter will be held at
Bhubaneswar from 29-31, Dec, 2009.
Apart
from IAs and FAs, only those who get the Senior Arbiter
title, will be eligible to officiate in National
Championships.
Eligibility to attend the conference and the exam: Any
chess player or national arbiter or arbiter at state
level or any person with a good knowledge of chess.
Fees:
Rs.4000/- . Entries with D.D.for Rs.4000/- favouring
All India Chess Federation, payable at Chennai should
reach AICF office Room.No.70, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium,
Chennai - 600 003. on or before 20.12.2009. Interested
persons may kindly send the entries through their
respective State Chess Associations.
Venue:
AC Library Hall, OAS Bhavan, Kharvela Nagar, BBSR
Participants have to bear their own cost of lodging and
boarding. The organizers can arrange rooms @ 225/- per
head per day on twin sharing basis near the venue
provided information is given well in advance.

Team events and Round robin tournaments
Only
case studies and interpretations on the above topics and
other important features in chess will be discussed in
the conference. Only those who obtain 80% and above
will be eligible for the Senior Arbiter Certificate)
