World champion Viswanathan Anand defeated Ivan Morovic of Chile
2-0 in a rapid match that took place at Santiago on April 26.
Anand's win with the black pieces in a rook ending and an easy
win with white in the reverse game displayed his high class.
Rated 232 Elo more than the Chilean player, Anand clearly
disappointed the locals by winning both games. The match
confirms that only few players can challenge the Indian in
classical chess and none in rapid chess.
