Koneru Humpy of ONGC, Vijayawada,
lost nine Elo in the first quarter of 2008 but retains the No.2 place in
the World of Women's Chess. Judit Polgar of Budapest, Hungary keeps her
No.1 place with a wide margin.
Like Magnus Carlsen in men, 13-year old Hou Yifan of China has increased
her rating by 22 Elo in 22 games to highjump to third place in the world.
