M Tel Masters , a top category 19, 6-players round robin, chess tournament is at the half-way stage in Sofia , Bulgaria. India's super Grandmaster Krishnan Sasikiran with 3.5 points from six games shares the lead with GM Mamedeyarov of Azerbaijan.

Six of the strongest GM’s in the world competing for the M-Tel Masters 2007 title are previous world champion Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria , former world junior champion (twice) Shakriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan), Michael Adams, (England) ,Gata Kamsky (USA), Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu (Romania) and Krishnan Sasikiran (India).
