Former World Junior champion P.Harikrishna of Sun Group, played a quiet 20-move draw with the black pieces against former world open winner Kamil Miton of Poland in the sixth round of the 8th Montreal International category 17 tournament on July 25.

Sergey Tiviakov of Groningen moved into sole lead with a victory from the black side of a Catalan opening against Mark Bluvshtein of Canada, the second lowest rated player. Harikrishna shared the second place with Kamsky and Ivanchuk.

Three rounds remain to be played in this 10-player all-play-all. Lowest rated player of the event, Charbonneau of Canada also defeated Nigel Short.

The results (round six): G.Kamsky (USA) 4 drew E.Sutovsky (Isr) 2, P.Eljanov (Ukr) 3.5 drew V.Ivanchuk (Ukr) 4, K.Miton (Pol) 3.5 drew P.Harikrishna (Ind) 4, M.Bluvshtein (Can) 2.5 lost to S.Tiviakov (Ned) 4.5, P.Charbonneau (Can) 1.5 bt N.Short (Eng) 0.5.
