20^th National U-9 Boys & Girls Chess Championship

Solapur – 5^TH TO 12^TH December,2006

 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

 Kindly note the following:

 1.  This is the 20^th National U-9 Boys & Girls Chess Championship and  not 19^th.

 2.   Eligibility:

        Apart from what is shown in the Prospectus, the following players are eligible to participate as seeded players subject to age.

 a)  Players who finished 1^st and 2^nd in the 19^th National Under -7 Boys & Girls Chess Championship are eligible to participate as seeded players in Under-9 Boys & Girls respectively.

 b) Player who finished 1^st in the last National Under – 7 Girls Chess Championship is eligible to participate as seeded player in Under-9 Boys.    

 d) Current World Champion in any category.

 f) Current World No.2 and 3 will be seeded  + one step higher Nationals.

 g) Current Asian No.2 and 3 seeded to the same category.
