sportsperson, Super GM Anand has been honoured as the first 'Ambassador'
by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to combat HIV/AIDS. This
nomination by Bill Gates confirm the status of Anand as one of the Icons &
Institution in itself!
In
association with NGO 'Avahan', Anand will create public awareness to
combat the deadly virus of HIV/AIDS in the country.
Anand has always extended
support for social cause in the country. To name a few, he has donated for
Earthquake victims of Maharashtra, Tsunami affected persons all over the
country. These must have definitely eased the sufferings of the people
affected by such natural calamities, which shows the humane side of Anand.
One more in this line is the true story of young Nimesh Shah, who got the
opportunity of lifetime to create a lasting bond with his hero, Anand.
