The Chess Players Association of India will organise Andhra Pradesh's first International Grandmaster Open at the K.V.B.R.Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad from Feb 25 to March 5.
Players from 18 countries including India are expected to take part in this event which is sponsored by ONGC with a first prize of Rs.200,000. The 10-round event will offer players an opportunity to make grandmaster norms and international master norms. For further details please check the prospectus.
