AICF Directive For Players

The AICF has declared that the 26th Piloo Mody Memorial Open Chess Tournament from February 19-28 is not a recognised event and the players are requested to keep away from this unrecognised event.

It may be mentioned that as per the player registration declaration signed by the players, they are supposed to abide by the rules and regulations and latest amendments of the Federation. Also item three of the regulations state that the players will not participate in any unauthorised event.

AICF through this release says that the 26th Piloo Mody Memorial Open Tournament is an unrecognised event and directs its players not to participate in the event. So, Indian players are directed by the AICF to keep away from this unrecognised event.
